Dot Tax is a tax and licensing service based in Phoenix Arizona. We are a collection of professionals that bring over 20 years experience to the field. Since April of 2002, we have been servicing the commercial motor carrier in a variety of ways. From establishing new accounts, and forming L.L.C.'s, to maintaining existing accounts and credentials, and preparation of all taxes (mileage, fuel and income), we allow our clients to focus on their mission and keep them rolling.

Dot Tax consulting is aimed at exposing the unknown. Managing IFTA, and licensing requirements in and of themselves are simple. But the multitude of overlapping tasks associated with each requirement create more opportunities for error that will often go unnoticed. It is not uncommon for these tasks to be delegated among several employees creating more opportunities for error.

Our consultation focuses on your current procedures compared to the specific requirements of the IFTA licensee. We analyze potential failures and assess the resulting liabilities. In essence we conduct the very same audit performed by ADOT.

Beyond this service we also provide training at both the driver and administrative level. In some cases, simple training of existing employees is sufficient. In other cases, the resulting duties and responsibilities on employees make out-sourcing these functions a more viable and cost-effective option.

In most cases, consultation is painless. A majority of the work is performed at our office. We interview employees briefly and are careful not to interrupt the daily activities of operation.
